Film
Direction, camera and edit. The same way of seeing extended through time — every moving image composed to stand as a photograph before it is asked to stand as a shot.
Commissioned and authored production, shot single-handed or with a small crew: 4K and 6K, aerial included, from location survey to finished cut. Natural sound, no library music.
Global Conservation
Five documentaries made with Global Conservation on the protection of endangered national parks and World Heritage sites, in Southeast Asia, the Caucasus and the Balkans. The subjects are the rangers and the patrols — what protection consists of on the ground.
The filming is mine on all five. Two are also my cut; the other three were edited by William J McKay.
